Our Policies, T&C's
Booking appointments
Appointments can be booked online through our booking system or in salon. We do not accept bookings via Instagram direct message or any other social media outlet. We require a deposit upon booking to secure your appointment, which will be deducted from the appointment total. You will receive a booking confirmation email and also a reminder email/text message the day before your appointment.
Your appointment

Please arrive promptly for your appointments start time. If you are late we may not have the time to complete your service. When you book online you will receive a confirmation email which will also contain hair preparation advice, it is important that you read this guidance regarding how to prepare for your appointment. You will receive a reminder email 48hrs before your appointment. Please use the contact page to get in touch if you have any questions.
Preparing for your curl appointment

Please arrive for your curl appointment with:

Clean, tangle free, dry hair. *Hair must be 100% dry.*

Loose hair - We need to see your natural curl pattern. No bobbles, clips, twists, buns, ponytails or anything that will disturb your natural curl pattern.

No heavy styling products, like mousse/oils/butters/gels. Product free hair or styled with a curl cream is OK.
Please arrive for your colour appointment with:

Clean, tangle free, dry hair. *Hair must be 100% dry.*

Loose hair - We need to see your natural curl pattern. No bobbles, clips, twists, buns, ponytails or anything that will disturb your natural curl pattern.

Product free hair.
We allow plenty of time for each appointment however we do ask that you hair is in a workable state when you arrive, it is imperative that you follow the above advice. If your hair hasn't been prepared as per our guidelines and/or requires extensive detangling we may not be able to proceed with your appointment. If we can find a work around we will, however additional service charges may apply. If we have to reschedule your appointment you will be liable for the full cost of the appointment which must be paid before another booking will be accepted.
We send confirmation emails upon booking an appointment, please read this email as it will include details regarding preparation for your appointment.
We can work with natural curly hair only, whether that be wavy, curly, kinky or coily; this means that unfortunately we cannot offer our services if your hair has been chemically treated (eg. relaxers, perms, Brazilian blow waves etc). If you're unsure what this means and whether your hair is suitable, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
Rescheduling your appointment & Cancellations
Our online booking system will allow you to reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 4 days (96 hours) prior to your service start time. Your deposit will transfer to your new appointment. If you do not arrive for a booked appointment the full balance will be due.
We are happy to reschedule or cancel an appointment within the 4 days prior to the service start time, so please do send us a message via our contact form or email address if you need, we understand life happens! However a new deposit will have to be paid in order to secure another appointment.
Deposit​

A £20-30 non-refundable deposit is required in order to book your appointment, this will be deducted from your appointment total.
If you need to reschedule you can do so by accessing your bookings on the member area of our website, your deposit will be transferred to your new booking providing you give at least 4 days notice. If you fail to give 4 days notice the deposit will be held and a further deposit will be required to book your next appointment. Please get in touch if you need assistance with this.
When you pay your deposit online we ask banks to display 'Absolute Curls' as your statement descriptor, however we cant control this and some banks will show our website provider, 'Wix.com', on your bank statement instead.

We want everyone to leave Absolute Curls with a smile on their faces. If for any reason you're not fully satisfied please let us know within a 24 hour period of your curl appointment or 2 weeks of your colour appointment and we will do our best to help you and rectify any issues, we do not offer refunds. Covid19

We are taking extra care with sanitising and cleaning in the salon. Our very small team are following government recommendations. We ask if you have a positive test before your appointment that you let us know - we will reschedule your appointment for as soon as possible.
